Never fully realizing where his gift and determination would lead him, he turned this young, earnest desire to learn and follow in his father's footsteps into a musical and life journey that has brought him into a league of his own.
A richly smooth, commanding voice that speaks not only to the listener's ear but also to their heart, Herb paints a sweeping portrait for the listener to admire. With no real compass to guide him, other than his own strong desire and work ethic, Herb carved out his own niche in the musical jungle that is Nashville, garnering attention from some of Music Row's prominent publishers as well as some of the biggest names in songwriting. He is currently writing with proven hit makers, including Harley Allen and Jon Robbin, and has several songs that are currently being pitched to major label artists by Nashville publishers.
His talents as a guitarist have also made him an in demand musician for other writers and artists. These days, Herb can be heard several times a year at one of Nashville's finest venues, the Bluebird Café, and is also currently in the studio working on his next project. He may not have known the course he was charting so many years ago but has found the key to success - being true to his art and writing outstanding songs.
