Ron Haney is a guitarist and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. His band, The Churchills, have toured extensively throughout the US, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Japan. He has written numerous songs, which have been featured on network television shows and films. The Churchills did one record for the Universal label, 2000’s “You Are Here”, which broke the CMJ charts. Their new record, called “The Odds of Winning”, is set for a spring 2004 release. This record will set in motion many licensing opportunities, radio airplay and tours of Japan, Germany, France, the UK, and the US.
As a producer, Ron is currently working with an amazingly talented crop of young performers from the NYC metropolitan area. He has many writing, playing, and production credits on records just about to be released. He is currently securing deals for some of these projects.
His career highlights include: performing live on “Spin City” with Michael J. Fox for three episodes; being featured on NPR for the 2002 record Big Ideas; touring Japan and being shown on the Jumbovision in the heart of Tokyo; being endorsed by Elixir® Strings.
