Enoch Train, a ship that carried nineteenth century immigrants from Europe to America, embodies everything this group is about.  Cultures from all over the world coming together in the name of religious freedom, sharing their musical heritage, and creating a new one in the process.  The eight musicians of Enoch Train have lived, traveled and performed all over the world.  This, in addition to the influence of world cultures, led them to incorporate international musical elements and instruments into their music.  And so Enoch Train explores both the streams and the rivers of familiar tunes-where the tunes have come from, and where they might be going.  And as cultural heritage is deep and ever expanding, they have a lifetime of exploring to do.

Clive Romney.  Clive has produced over 100 albums, written over 300 published works, appeared on nearly 1,500 audio recordings, and logged over 2,000 live performances during his thirty-plus year career.  Clive has taught music and songwriting courses for numerous Universities, plays over 40 instruments, and owns Pitchfork Studios, Romney Musical Services, and is the creator, founder, and musical director of Enoch Train.

Daron Bradford.  Daron plays all of Enoch Train's woodwinds, including numerous specialty and indigenous instruments.  He was the principal clarinetist with the Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra and taught at the Mexico International Conservatory of Music.  He is a professor of music and a professional studio musician, as well as a clarinetist for the Utah Symphony, and the Orchestra at Temple Square.  Daron studied at Julliard School of Music and Robert Marshall Evanston Chicago School, and currently teaches at Brigham Young University.

Janice Andersen.  Janice began playing violin at the age of five, and after many years of classical training turned to "fiddling."  She performed for three years with the country/bluegrass band Wildfire (performing nearly 1,000 concerts during that time) and was named "Musician of the Year" in Chicago.  She later became the Utah State Fiddle Champion in 1996, and again in 1999.

Rich Dixon.  Rich composes, arranges and produces music for film and video, and is the co-owner of Sleepless Productions.  He has toured, played, taught, been a clinician for years, and is the most in-demand studio guitarist and envy of every guitar player in the Intermountain West.  Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Rich grew up learning to play the guitar.  As a teenager he studied Jazz improvisation with Linc Chamberlain and has been a jazz musician ever since.  Rich studied music at Brigham Young University and is also respectfully self-taught.

Jay Lawrence.  Jay is proficient in all the percussive media.  After studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Jay has worked with numerous artists.  As a professor of music, Jay has taught or currently teaches at four Universities-teaching advanced improvisation, percussion, and Jazz History.  He feels he was destined to share his talent of music, and has been directed to use music as a spiritual, temporal, and mental endeavor.

Rob Honey.  Rob has been a session bassist for all the major television networks, motion pictures, and played on tons of albums.  Rob paid his road dues and landed in Nashville where he became a staff writer for Reba McIntyre's publishing company.  He wrote songs for Faith Hill, and Diamond Rio who took Rob's song, Norma Jean Riley, to a #1 hit and the Radio and Record country song of the year for 1992.

Dave Compton.  Dave is a veteran on the club scene and in recording studios, playing piano, guitar, harmonica, and upright bass.  Although music is where Dave makes his living, it's a means of expression, a way to communicate with others, and a great way to serve his community.  Music has also clothed, fed, and housed his family, which is no small task.

Tom Hewitson.  Tom has played guitar across the United States, Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific.  In addition to his love for performing, he has become an accomplished arranger and composer.  Tom has composed soundtracks for numerous films and projects. He has also enjoyed teaching guitar for over twenty years.
