Chuck has played bass since 1966 and earned his living doing so since 1968. Chuck's varied career as a bassist has seen him play in musical styles from jazz to country and everything in-between.
Since 1979, Chuck has played bass for Kenny Rogers, performing all over the world and in the studio.
Currently Chuck lives in the Los Angeles area. While living in Nashville for over ten years Chuck was active in the studio scene and played on six gold and platinum albums as well as numerous other sessions in addition to his road schedule with Kenny Rogers.
Heritage guitars approached Chuck to design a new bass for their custom hand-made guitar and bass company, and the result was this state of the art hand-made 5 string bass.
Chuck is also the author of the successful bass instruction book The Bottom Line.
