Nashville Singer/Songwriter Cory Ryan crafts songs that speak to the soul. A memory from a long time ago, a feeling that you can't put into words, or a story waiting to be told; Cory combines these elements with ear-catching melodies and unique rhythms that are both cutting edge as well as warmly familiar. Cory's real world grounding and every-man perspective makes his music both easy to relate to and hard to get out of your mind.
Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Cory attended Charles F. Brush High School, forming his first band at the age of 17. In 1996, he enrolled at Belmont University, Nashville's prestigious music school, to study vocal performance, songwriting and entertainment business. He quickly became an area favorite and "showcase" act.
Cory continues to refine his singer/songwriter skills, playing venues in both Nashville and Cleveland. The release of his first solo CD, "Blank Slate" has generated a buzz in the industry.
