Larrivee Guitar and Bass

A singer/songwriter who writes music primarily for parents, educators, and children.  Monte performs throughout the United States and Europe, works as an artist-in-residence, and records on MDM Records, Nashville.  He is also an associate professor of school leadership at Emporia State University.

Heavy guitar influences from James Taylor, Jim Croce, and older brother, Mark Selby (Vanguard records artist). Singing influenced by Bonnie Raitt, Woodie Guthrie, Bruce Springsteen and Ray Charles.
